About the Milk House
The Milk House is located in the quiet Hamlet of of Trebarvah overlooking the lovely beach and village of Perranuthnoe. It is blessed with stunning views over Mounts Bay, home to one of Britain’s most iconic landmarks, St Michael’s Mount.
Originally being the old milking parlour attached to Trebarvah Barn, The Milk House has tons of character. It was (after a sincere apology to the resident cows) recently converted to a beautiful, self contained very spacious one double bedroom holiday let. It is a truly magical place to base your holiday.
The Living Area
The Milk House has a large oak boarded living area measuring approximately 30 x 15 feet. It is open plan & incorporates the Kitchen & Dining area. It is kitted out with a TV, DAB radio (with MP3 connectivity), free wifi, dining table & chairs, wood burner, original Edwardian chaise longue & armchair.
In the summer you can this extend your living area outside onto the lawn and cobbled patio at the front of the building. From both inside & out, the living area boasts stunning views over Mount’s Bay, & you can enjoy an evening drink with the sun setting behind St Michal’s Mount!
The Kitchen & Dining Area
The slate tiled Kitchen is fully equipped with a full size electric oven, gas hob, slimline dishwasher, fridge freezer, sink & usual array of pots, pans, utensils, cutlery & crockery. As well as the dining table there is a handy breakfast bar and stools.
The bathroom is a generous 12 x 10 feet making it big enough for both a wet room shower & an original cast iron roll top bath, along with WC & wash basin. It is also equipped with electric underfloor heating & heated towel rail.
The large bedroom is 15 x 12 feet and has bags of character with its old wooden shutters and quirky round window. It has a stunning (& HUGE) super kingsize bespoke handcrafted solid oak bed & matching large bedside cabinets. There is also a full size wardrobe & chest of drawers.
